Stolen tack update! I got my KK bit back!!

One of my friends who keep her horse on the yard next to mine, found my KK bit dumped in the hedge outside her gate!! I'm so happy as I was dreading having to buy another. Seems to be, that the theives thought my bit was rubbish and decided to ditch it and keep my crappy Indian leather bridle instead!

I've biked up and down my lane hoping that they dumped my helmet and the bridle but they just seem to have gotten rid of my skull cover (I found that in the hedge a bit further down when I was going home yesterday evening) and the bit. Bizarre!

I've got a KK bit, mine costs about £130 new :O Got mine of a friend for £40 though

Thieves have just been to our place, took my GFS saddle and 6 others but thankfully left my Stubben bridle with my KK Ultra bit on!!

On Ebay used ones in the size I need, go for about £35- £40, new they are close to £100. It wasn't even my bit, I have it on loan so I would have had to replace it . LOL, that bit isn't going out of my site from now on!

Sorry to hear about your saddle and the other stolen stuff redcascade. It seems strange all the thefts that are going on, is there some big horse or tack fair coming up that these loosers intend on unloading the stuff at?

I think York sales are on this week, but my friend says they won't sell them locally :/

Some thieves are bloody stupid. My cousin had her horse stolen, went to some horse sales 4 weeks later only 50 miles away, and there was her horse being sold. She got on her mobile and her 5 giant brothers turned up and removed the horse from the well known and rather transient seller really quite easily. (West Wales)
