Stomach Ulcers

As much turnout with company as you can manage and Coligone, Coligone, Coligone. PM H's_mum - she can send you all the info. It's a highly palatable supplement that is custom made for horses that - for whatever reason - have developed stomach ulcers or are prone to low grade colicky attacks. It lines and soothes the gut. Can be given as a high dose emergency or as a low dose maintenance. My horse Sunny had a gassy colic attack 18 months ago and now whenever he changes fields or has any other changes in his routine that might worry him, he has 3 days on Coligone. The original mint powder is most palatable.

I have been out with vets to gastroscope racehorses to grade and look for ulcers which were then treated with gastroguard (ranitidine).

The lifestyle of being stabled, fed on high conc diets and raced fast all predispose. But so do, obviously, NSAIDS eg bute.

What sort of info are you wanting exactly?
