Stomach ulcers

Hi,
I know a horse that is quite aggressive in his stable and also girthy. some of the staff at the riding stables have suggested that he has stomach ulcers. What other signs are there for stomach ulcers?

There are horses with ulcers that show very few symptoms and they are horses that show ulcer symptoms that don't have them unfortunately.
