Tam's second event! We went in for the kill, and entered the PN, not with much confidence, but it all turned out okay

So we got there nice and early, and I walked the course, which was nice for a Pre-Novice, big, but not very technical, apart from a combo of houses, downhill, with a very short one in between, plus you couldn't see the second part until you were jumping the first.

Then I was the stressage, which I was

about, because I got 45 in the Intro at WWEC, and this was a level up from that so eeeek! It wasn't too bad, though, I was happy with it, and decided I would settle for 40.

Then re-walked XC with Mum and my firend who was in my section, and then checked scores for stressage. And I was so shocked!

I got 31.5!!!

So really couldn't c*ck it up SJ now. SJ was big, and distances were long, so my nails seriously shortened as I tacked up and got ready! She warmed in well, except for a stop, which woke me up. Then went in, and flew round for a clear. Plus all my friends at Stonar gave a round of applause, which put a smile on my face

So yes, I was currently in 4th, and was in contention for a rozzie, but now I still had the chance to muck it up XC. She warmed up fabulously (over the Novcie fence, that I hadn't seen anyone else jump...) and fklew around. Almost too quick! It was a very short course, and she did jump beautifully, so I don't mind a bit of speed!

So YAY I finished on 31.5, and moved up a place, as the person in second met a sticky end XC.

Dead chuffed, as I go a huge rosette, and some exercise bandages. And I was like, probably the highest placed kid from a state school

YAYAYAYAY! Best weekend ever!

monkeybum- It is photo synergy.

My school didn't even know what eventing was, when I e-mailed them with the result. Oh dear. No wonder I had to be an individual!

So pleased with her. My ambition is now to do the Novice height at this event next year. Does that sound reasonable? She's perfectly capable! SO HAPPY!!!!!
