Our baby was there on Tues. He did the best dressage of his section and did a double clear with a few times faults so was 3rd!!! Very very proud of him as its only his second event.
The dressage was a bit of a mix up, he was called to go early and when he got to the arena there was no judge. 20 mins after his time had been and gone and after alot of complaining from us the judge arrives and he started. He was right at the bottom arena with the xc course next door so had horses and quads going up and down, luckily it didn't bother him and he did a really nice test. The rider remembered it this time!
He showjumped went well but he was very novicey, he slipped a bit going to the second and he was very careful there after, he also managed to get 2 strides in the double.
Xc was good, we were at the water, where we could see fence 3, his to worse fences. He hates water. He rather climbed fence 3 as there is a big puddle in front of it. He hesitated at the water but went in the straight route and once in went boldly out and over the chair thing. Lots of horse were being eliminated there.
All in all we were very pleased.
