Stonar School

Hi :)
Ive looked at Stonar/did the taster day, and I love it. I really want to go but we can't afford it :/
Anyway, when I went the stables looked lovely, all the school ponies where looked after very well, all the people walking around the yard where very friendly etc. :)

We have a daughter at the school. Up until the start of this school year we had always been happy with equestrian side, but recent changes, including some that are impacting horse care, have left us wondering whether to continue or change. PM me if you would like some more details.

I saw a thread a while back that also maybe of interest.

I went there a few weeks ago with my friend who has a daughter there. Its not looking too good these days. Girls not happy with the new setup, lessons etc. Seems they dont get on well with the new director. The stables are looking messy as apparently they have cut back on bedding and then they are asking the girls to buy their own. All in all nowhere near as as good as it used to be. I am told that livery is 1200 /term and the the lessons are several hundred a term on top which seems very expensive considering the girls do everything themselves. TBH I'm not sure where they spend all the money, although at least the arena looks good. Sorry for being so negative :(
