Stone in stud hole

Help!! I had a stone in my stud hole played about with it for a bit got it so it was almost out but didn’t have enough leverage, it seemed to fall back in now I can’t find it!!!! I did put his foot down so maybe it’s fallen out as I had loosened it but didn’t see it on the ground, is it possible it’s went into his foot? The bottom of the stud hole feels smooth and can’t feel a stone so fingers crossed it’s fallen out and not went into his foot… if that’s even possible

Thank you that is definitely the most logical explanation but my paranoid self had me convinced that it has jammed between the hoof and the shoe and thinking about how I can possibly get my farrier out tonight to remove the shoe!!

I'm sure it will be fine I dropped a drawing pin the other day and it took me ages to find it and it was so far from where I lost it.
