StonAr - it is on top of a hill and is usually rock hard up there. The rain around here hasn't been anyway as nearly as bad as the rest of the country

a friend who's going tomorrow said that her friend had walked the course today and said there's a good grass covering and ground's pretty good considering the weather

I agree - although it has rained a lot. We have got off quite lightly here. And they really look after their ground there too.
I am jump judging tomorrow afternoon. I've got a blue freelander and a stupid looking boxer so give me a wave!

we were there today, and the ground was fabulous! Best going so far this year....

A few slightly mudier bits on the XC, and they had taken out a water jump as it got too deep - and moved the dressage arenas. They didnt even hve to tow lorries in or out - amazing given the weather we have had.

I'm really looking forward to the ground, it's aways hard there so it must be about right now!!
Shame about the water though, could have done with taking moon in a new water
