It's not often I call Leah stupid, but she really deserved it today. I let her out into the garden, and then ages later I suddenly remembered she was still out there and wondered why she hadn't started jumping at the door to be let in yet. Thinking she probably had her nose in the binbags, I went out to get her, only to see her standing on the patio looking at me, wagging her tail but not moving towards me. I went over to her and she just stood there, and as I got closer I realised she'd managed to get herself tangled up in some trellis netting stuff on the fence.

I tried to untangle her but she must have been struggling around a lot, because she was well and truly stuck! It was all tangled round her neck, her chest and her legs, I don't know how she'd managed it, but I had to yell for mum to come with the scissors so I could set her free!

I was so proud of her for not panicking though - she can be really claustrophobic, and normally if she was trapped somewhere she'd fight so hard she'd end up hurting herself (she was in her crate on bonfire night, and the fireworks terrified her so much that she tried to tear her way out. It was a heavy-duty metal crate and when we came home the bars were twisted and bent, the plastic sheet on the bottom was completely shredded and her mouth and paws were bleeding

). So I was impressed by how calm she remained - she must have known someone would come and save her in the end!

Anyone else have a completely thick dog today or is it just me?

Silly moo!

I didn't have stoopid dogs today, but I did have an embarrassed one, I took them for a run on the beach and I made B wear his jumper
