I had a foal that started to chew the tails o my 3 other horses (though not his mother's) I sprayed their tails with dog anti chew every other day and it stopped it .It says harmless to dogs so I guessed it was okay for the horses.He stopped pretty quickly once he had a taste of it .I also put up a selection of licks around the field so he could lick those instead.
