So the horse I had on loan was sold before Christmas and the current location of all my horsey stuff isn't rat proof! I need ideas on storing all my stuff - There's rugs buckets haynets tools etc etc - everything you need for a horse/pony and no horse!!!!

I've been looking at storage companies but they want £15 per week. I tried to get storage at work but I can only have it for two weeks at least it wouldn't cost me anything. I can put it all the back garden but it will all have to be trapsed through my flat including the wheel barrow!!!

I'm going to get all my rugs washed and reproofed so that I can try and find space for them in the house which I've already emptied a built in wardrobe/cupboard and turned it into a tack room!!! So there really isn't much room for anything!!!

So any ideas gratefully appreciated!

Does anyone need anything for their horse because I could also do with having a good clear out on numnahs, rugs, girths, bits, bridles, grooming kits, you name it I've got it, if anyone is in need of anything let me know and I'll see if I've got in a size to suit you!

Um... Operation Esther springs to mind if you have any stuff you are willing too give away

Space is the thing I really need!

I don't want to part with everything just in case I end up with another horse.

I've been between horses for a few months so bought one of those large grey/green tough plastic lockable trunks from B&Q. I think they are really for garden tools but it fits most of my horsey stuff and is now tucked away under the stairs with lots of home junk piled on top.

Yeh i have one of those bins which is stored in the barn...its great. Havnt had any problems yet *touch wood lol. Oh advice, OH reinforced it with extra screwa here and there, it was a bit flimsy to begin with....
