Storing frozen semen - esp in SE

I have the possibility of some frozen semen comign my way from a lovely stallion and was wondering if you guys have any idea of the storage prices in the South East. It seems to be a morning for vets not answering phones as have been ringing for hours and not had any luck so didn't know if any idea!?

Maybe a daft idea but alot of dairy farmers store semen for AI so will have storage facilities.

You could try Claire Mills at Westlands Stud, Charlwood - I know she's meant to be installing the necessary facilities this year

Its actually illegal to mix semen from different species in the same tank, possibly to avoid the accidental birth of some horse-cow mutant!

Obviously people do it any way, but if you are storing a limited supply of valuable semen then I would choose somewhere with a bit more accountability; big studs or vets are your best bet.

Might be worth a try; dairy cows are often quite good at jumping, and coloureds always sell well!
