Storing Hay

I have a spare garden shed and was thinking of storing about 20 bales of hay in it, using up just over half of the shed. Would this be dangerous do you think, in case it heated up without much ventilation?

my friend stores it in a shed and has no problems just make sure that the hay get anough air to stop it getting swetty

And put some pallets down first.

It won't be dangerous, yeh, make sure it has enough space to breathe

Stack i on pallets to keep it off the ground & you should be ok. All my hay is kept in a store shed as you don't lose any to weathering like you do in open barns. It's too expensive now to have any ruined or waste any.
