Thanks everyone who replied to my post re introducing 2 male rotties, and also to my later post about alternatives to the buster collar.

Here are some pics of Storm who we rescued on Monday, in his new 'soft' collar which he is much happier in, and some pics of our other 2 rots for good measure :)

They aren't showing on my other post either & I don't know why. If I open my own post they are all there. They are also showing in my album - sorry, no idea how to fix it!
 
Hi millitiger, glad someone can see them, I've been searching how to post pics & I've done everything right so no idea what's going on!

We rescued him on Monday as he was being ill-treated by his previous owner, but as he was a full male and so is one of ours he had to be castrated yesterday ( as well as chipped, vaccinated & wormed poor boy!).

He came home with a plastic buster collar but was terrified of it and was knocking into the other dogs, which wasn't helping him to integrate. Today we tried putting him in a t shirt instead, then shorts, then the inflatable travel collar things but nothing was working until the vet came up with this soft collar. It works really well, he doesn't mind wearing it & the other dogs aren't being knocked around by it so it's been a great success :)
 
I can see them :):):) He/they look gorgeous. Never seen one of those collars before they look great. My daughter's grey had to wear a collar last week, had it on for about an hour and she wouldn't move, just stood there looking sad:eek: - not difficult for a greyhound! Well done you for taking on another rottie in need:)
 
You can never have two many rotties:D they are bootiful, which is the 3rd pick down, dog/bitch? it is the double of my rotti:eek:
Im glad things are going ok, and well done for offering the boy a home, he looks to have landed on his feet:)
 
Thanks everybody, he really is so sweet & considering what he's been through we are so surprised how gentle & trusting he is. He is getting on great with our 2 AND the cat so hopefully it will all turn out well. He is starting training on Monday and things should become much easier after that.

Cayla the 3rd one down is Tia our bitch, she is about 8 in that picture and is Scanian bloodlines. We took your advice and let him in with our 2 the day after castration and apart from the odd little snap from Tia there has been no problems so far.

BBH, we didn't really choose him as such, we knew the owner and had to get him away from the situation he was in so asked to have him. We had to pay full price for him to 'rescue' him and it wasn't really planned! Never mind, all's well that ends well :D
