That's such a shame. Personally I don't understand the logic of planners. Near us a chap has put up 5 huge buildings for commercial use & they have no problem with that, but a grooms flat or small cottage to be near to your mares during foaling....no chance. :(

I was so sad to hear of this - for a very small stud they have an incredible record of breeding outstanding eventers. I know that they have battled for years to try and get permission for a residence on site. Wouldn't you think that Devon would be proud to have such an outstanding enterprise based in the county? Tragic for the stud owner
