Strange ad

Made me laugh too!

He's gorgeous, just like an overgrown teddy bear! Can't believe he measures that small though???

Aaarh, Belgian meat horses - well I s'pose they've got to get rid of them somewhere. If you clipped it out and took off all themane and tail there might be a decent cob in there somewhere - but very overpriced.

Well I absolutely love Clarissa. Would have to get a high viz with 'Please pass wide load and slow' on it.
I would love to give her a home - not at £4000 though.

"Can honestly say this fantastic girl has the biggest a*se I've ever seen and that does include my ex-wife. She is enormous. Ideally suited to carry the heaviest of rider but as you can see from the video a 7 stone girl can handle her quite easily. She is not strong and very easy to do in and out of the stable. If your looking for a pet bear as well as a riding horse Clarissa fits the bill, she is a very affectionate horse who enjoys human attention and responds accordingly. Never a hint of a buck bolt or rear just a big heavy armchair type of ride. Safety out hacking is her main attribute but she does have 3 decent paces if you enjoy schooling. Clarissa is not a cheap horse (£ 4,000) as she is extremely well bred on both sides and comes from a long line of showing horses. Plus what price safety ?. Viewing is essential to fully appreciate this horse and I assure you she will not disappoint in any way. Bring the family for a day out to ride her, yes all at once. Finally if your a nervous novice type of rider you will instantly gain confidence when riding Clarissa as she is so steady and reliable you'll feel right at home within seconds. We have five similar types in from £2500."

I really like some parts of the advert :D :D :D, but no matter how well bred such a horse is, at least if it was over here, I sadly doubt that it would ever get sold with that price tag, and the part about that you could bring the family to ride her all at once, just gives me very worrying images in my head of someone thinking that four or five persons can ride her at the same time on a daily basis!

Yes i was slightly worried about the bring your famiy  not really the type of bring your nan event :D I saw it more as anyone could ride her but what you have said about multiple riders is worrying

The last photo made me laugh. there's an optical illusion caused by a shadow between houses in the background. It looks like she's got donkey's ears! :D

She's massive! We're these the ones that were on Martin clunes horsepower when he went fishing in the sea on horses?

She is absolutely gorgeous! If she's as safe as described I don't see why she's overpriced at all. How many similar huge horses are there?

Yep, agreed! Wild pay that for a genuine safe horse, if well bred. Why not?

People pay that for nutters and don't bat an eyelid!

Does anyone else see the donkey ears in the last photo? :D:D

Yes, I came on here to post but you'd already done it! She looks absolutley lovely & I'm a TB person thru & thru..I even just shared a cute pic of a mini on fb..it was jumping some daffodils almost as big as itself!

Clarissa looks a delight & I hope she finds a lovely deserving home who will apprecaite her..loved the ad too and completely agree with Tally Ho that there are far more over priced nut jobs out there who go for twice that..I just hope they are choosey with their buyers so no group rides go on
