My horse has been on box rest for 6 months and has finally been aloud out in the field. Due to the mud (White mud fever prone socks) and the risk of injuring himself hd has been wearing turnout boots but these seem to be making his legs sweat and when I was brushing his legs tonight he was acting quiet strangely his leg would start to quiver and then he would point his toes. Am I being paranoid or should I be worried?

Its the legs with the boots on and he is only sweating under the boots. Probably just being paranoid after all his time off I just dont want another set back! Anyone knnow of any turnout boots that dont make them sweat, seems like a bit of a design fault, sure they are designed to be worn all day at this time of year?
