My boy 16 yr old tb x seems to have a strange habit of when resting a hind leg when he goes to unrest he hobbles almost like he can't put weight on one of the back hinds, then he's fine n stands normal???
Anyone else ever had this happen.
He's sound n moves totally free n fine on it,I may add he use to event many years ago I think he's quite high milage n has a few lumps n bumps of witch never bother him.
We have had our fair share of small annoying problems n he did use to do this hobble thing two years ago then just stopped n I haven't really seen it since..
Any help info greatful and sorry for the long post but wanted to get the facts across :-)

Possibly age related? A touch of arthritis?

Just a suggestion as I am also aged and sometimes do the same thing! The joints are a bit stiff and don't work immediately they are told to!;)

Thanks for the reply :-) yes I was thinking arthritis just trying to think witch joint it could be to make hobble happen and yes it is not always, tonight we had been hacking and done some canter work so wasent sure if he did abit much..
Maybe its the time to think of something more then a joint supplement for him x
