Looking at photos, I've noticed when jumping (especially as the jumps get bigger) I tend to stick my bum right out, occasionally even over the back of the saddle! Also, my heels come up (even though my leg is in a fairly decent position - I think!) and I don't sit up until landing.
Any suggestions or ideas on how I can stop this happening!? Exercises or things to think about?
Thanks:)
Also - how do I post a photo!?

if you have a photobucket account, you can copy and paste the IMG code (third down in link options) in here and it will show up.

If you don't, you can right click and "copy image location" (or similar depending on browser) and paste it in here with before and after (removing the spaces between "img" and "]" )

I can do tech help, but probs not jp help ;)

Sounds like you are not putting enough weight in your heel and over folding?

How about lots of flatwork in trot in a forward position. I will help get your heals down and you'll find your balance. You could also try riding doubles and related distances so you have to sit up and ride between the jumps. The more you do the quicker your reactions will get. Not sure if these exercises suit your specific problem, I'm sure others will have plenty. Good luck.
