Hi i have a 17 year old welsh trotter called ellie she is acting very strange, usually she is not afectionate at all. But today she wont leave me or my husband alone wanting to rub against us all the time, wanting us to rub her neck and give a good scratch to her. But as we are doing this she is rubbing her lips on us and nibbling our ears and my hair with her front teeth not hard but like she would to another horse to groom it.
Also if the gelding in the next field comes close to the fence near me her ears go flat to her head and she charges at him and puts herself between me and the fence.
This is so strange for ellie as usually she is moody.
Any ideas ????
