Sorry but a strange question to start the week off!! I am currently looking to buy a new trailer, but I also have a 2 berth caravan which I am looking to sell.

Does anyone know of anywhere that would possibly deal in a part exchange with a caravan for a horse trailer in the South East?

Just a thought really…..Rather than having to sell one privately to buy the other

I think you would do the best deal if you sold privately however if you dont want to deal with folks and the hassle then maybe ask a caravan place for a bid , maybe a trailer dealer would do a deal but my guess is they would just ring a caravan place to get it underwritten and offer you peanuts , ringing round and asking will give you an idea I would put it on ebay with a sensible reserve as its not the best time of year to be selling a caravan...hope thats helpfull..

Do you have a travellers camp? There is one near us that always has horse trailers for sale maybe they would consider a part exchange?

Master leisure of Tempsford which is based on the A1 near Sandy Beds is in the business of buying and selling caravans. He doesn't sell horse trailer though! Give him a ring, tell him what you've got and he may be interested. He's always on the look out for good caravans to sell. Obviously if you could sell it privately you would get more money.
