My horse has just come home to join me after being on loan for 12 months while I moved to the other side of the country.
When I gave her a good check over, I noticed a large patch of red raw skin on the inside of the top of her leg/bum under her tail, that obviously hasn't been treated. It almost looks as if her bum cheeks have been rubbing together!
I'm treating it now and I'll give it a couple of days and call the vet if there's no sign of improvement... but does anyone have any clue what may have caused this, or what it might be?!
Obviously I'm not getting much response from the person who had her on loan...
