strange stance when walking up hill

Hope this makes sense.....

When walking Frankie out of his field we have to walk up a relatively steep hill. Often on the way up we pause a couple of times for whatever reason. When we pause, the majority of the time he does not stand with all four hooves flat on the ground - the right hind hoof is often positioned in a "resting" type position, almost as if he has forgotten about it and not pulled it through correctly. It is always the same leg.

Is this normal or should I be concerned?
 
cheers samstar - I was wondering if it was that :)

he's having some bowen treatments at the mo for muscle tightness (from saddle problems) so hopefully that will sort it out. His pelvis is ok its more his lower back/glute area I think that's tight.
