Where have you ridden your horse which is a bit odd.

I have ridden through a mcdonalds drive through, my mare was petrified of the chip and pin machine.

I have also ridden into a lorry workshop so I could weigh my horse on the weigh bridge :D

I have also ridden through mcdonalds drive through! :-D
Can't think of anywhere else strange I have ridden, I'm boring!!

I always think the car park of the NEC to be a fairly strange place (admittedly there was a horse show on but all the same strange).

Am impressed though at the Ride through McDonalds.

By the side of the light railway at Docklands and stabling in the underground car park at the Excel centre. Bit odd riding up the multi storey carpark to get into the arena!

I was invited into the hallway of a country estate house that was being renevated. This was after I scared the workmen half to death after I rode past the house (cut through the grounds because I was losing the light) in the dusk. But because they caught the shadow they thought it was "the ghost" etc etc. :D

The hallway had a big fireplace that was lit and they were huddling round it. The floor was a sprung floor with a cellar underneath. Con was very brave but it all got a bit much for him so he decided to leave them a present... :D

i jumped the bunkers on a golf course once when i was a kid :o
thought they looked fab :o
needless to say i got in lots of trouble :o

i also ride my mare through town to the vets to get injections so i don't get a call out fee :D

I once rode a friend's horse through the centre of Banbury at the head of a protest against the threatened closure of the local hospital ( and no I wasn't naked, it was November!)
Best thing was the police motorbike escort who politely enquired if the horse would be frightened of the strobe on his bike - how the hell was I supposed to know, wasn't accustomed to riding with a police escort!
But bless the horse, he was a complete angel :)

I had to park my pony, so to speak, on a petrol station forecourt as I was bursting for the loo. Attendant came out and held on whilst I answered my call of nature x

Amother one thats done mc ds drive throughs also took my old horse through most of exeter and exeter high street.

oh and years ago i took a wrong turning and ended up in sainsburys in east grinsted, then went into a housing estate where i promptley asked some odd guy if he could hold my horse and if i could borrow his fone.. on entering his house and whilst on his fone his mrs appeared, looked a bit shocked said wheres my oh.. i said holding my horse lol I Then pushed it by asking for a bowl of water for horse..

returned outside and horse was stood on poor blokes foot! bless her she was only a baby and handt ever really hacked before LOL:eek::D

Not really anywhere "strange" as such - but I have taken him out to watch the red arrows. Got right to the top of the hill and had such a good view (could even see the pilots faces). Horse was not in the least bit bothered, he enjoyed the rare opportunity to graze on a hack :-)

Two of the Cavalry boys once rode the horses through a drive through once, in uniform it was in the paper, when to CO saw they got royally bo11ocked! hahaha

Not strange as such, but I was riding out in Hyde Park the other weekend and we saw an ice cream van, trotted over, stuck horses head at the window and asked for two magnums! I think the poor lad must have been snoozing cos he got the shock of his life!

I would love hacking down mac d's, dunno how I'd hold my meal and the horse though.

I've ridden along felixstowe sea front before, past the amusements horse didn't even look, even stopped at a pub along the front and got someone to hold my horse while I went for a wee and got a drink lol!
