Does anyone know anything about this yard? I'm going to have a look at it at the weekend for potential livery....

Basically, I'm looking for somewhere with reasonable facilities to keep 2 horses in low level competition work - ie, BE PN and BSJA newcomers... Ideally it would be good to have somewhere to canter around and hack out as well as school, although I'm not bothered about going out for miles!!

I've only ever been on a smallish yard which is very friendly, so slightly scared about this!!

I know someone who is stabled there. It is a very big yard. If you are looking for a 5 day part livery I know somewhere very nice. PM me if interested.

I had to open this post as the only Strangeways I know is a prison in Manchester!!

ETA I do not have personal knowledge of this establishment.

Think thats the one. I went there a few times, once to buy a horse - the owners used import and sell Irish sports horses, and once when i delivered one that i had sold to someone. It always seemed a nice place to me but this was a few years ago. Quite big, kept nice with a nice indoor school. At at the time the people and owners seemed nice as well.
