Strangles in East Anglia?

The Show seasons in swing now, but i have heard strangles i about. Does anyone know where? and has it been contained?

Our Pony Club stopped all rallies etc and took a very paranoid view of it all but even they have decided that it's ok again now. I was told a couple of weeks back that there have been no new cases reported locally. How true that is I couldn't say as it's one of those things that people don't seem too honest about.

As far as we are concerned everything's back to normal. The closed yards are open.

Interested to hear how everyone else is finding it though.

I know there were a few shows cancelled in Norfolk last year due to strangles but I have not seen anything about it this year.

Yes there where cases in newmarket and fordham but not heard of any more and that was a while ago.

Contained cases in essex/suffolk border but think cleared up and everything carrying on as norm

4 cases in the newmarket/fordham area about 4 weeks ago

No new cases as yet so possibly contained
