Strangles in North Scotland

Hi, just wondering if anyone on here has heard anything about the strangles outbreak in the Inverness area?

Hi, I heard about this about a month ago and as far as I know, the yards in question are quarantined and shows around Inverness had cancelled for a week or so. The vets have been in touch and are happy for others to move about as long as precautions such as no interacting with other horses etc take place.

Kessock vets are holding a strangles evening which may be worth seeing about?

That is not true any more three yards have had an outbreak, rallies/shows have been cancelled and very poor turnout at Black Isle show, 1 very unscupulous yard owner in Ross-shire had an outbreak and still continued to allow visiting guests to come to yard resulting in 2 of them taking Strangles back to their own yard, very irresponsible!!

I have heard of an outbreak of strangles in the Ayrshire area though, anyone else?
