Strangles in south Essex

For those in the area......have seen a few rumours about strangles around the south essex area - including one yard running comps. Please be aware!
 
It has been confirmed that Hovells, Corringham Park Farm, Jotmans (near Canvey) and Thurrock Show Ground have got Strangles.

I have heard a rumour that Longwood should be avoided just in case too
 
thank you for that, was planning on poppingto longwood tomorrow for a schooling round but think i will pass now
 
I also heard from my farrier that there are various outbreaks in the Thurrock area, and I think he did mention Longwood and also possibly Foxhounds? (although not 100% sure on that). Glad I moved from there last year!

Bl00dy hope so, am there on Sunday! It's not really 'south essex' as such and is quite a way from Longwood etc.....have heard of nothing in that area.
 
There's a few yards in the vange area that have it apparently, have heard from one person from another message board who keeps her horse on a yard that has an outbreak, she didn't mention which yard it was but just said it was in the vange/basildon area, so I'm thinking that must be Hovells. We're now not going to let any new liveries on our yard until there's been at least a month with no new outbreaks - just not worth the risk of spreading it.
