strangles jabs

my friend and I had our horses vaccinated with strangles jab as ws moving yard and low and behold the next day someone mentioned they were being pulled yet the vets still gave them to us. as a result one of my horses got swollen legs 7 days after did the usual stuff but got worse so called vet out he said nothing to do with jab said he had bacterial infec so i said i must inform my old yard as he thought it was picked up maybe through grass and straight away he went back on what he said and the result could have been the jab!!! Anyone else had these symptoms? and anyone else had compensation as ou vet was meant to be dealing with it through intervet?? couldn't have 2nd jab so first one waisted and a hefty bill for blood tests bute and antibiotics!!!

Was this a whole ago? The jabs were withdrawn a while back?

it was back in jan this year think vet just wanted money as when i mentioned having the second one and i knew they had benn pulled the vet said they were still going ahead ???
