Strangles....what happens after the all clear

I'm looking to move to a yard that had an outbreak of strangles earlier this year. They had the all clear end of June and I believe only 2/17 horses were affected. The YO has been upfront about this and they were on lockdown.
I have read up on strangles but most advice is for during and not after. I suppose moving to any yard poses a risk but could moving my horse expose her to strangles? Sorry if it's a silly question

Unlikely if the yard has done all the right things - and it sounds like they will have. Check with your vet for re-assurance but it wouldn't bother me.
