Hi all!

I'm booked in on the fun ride at Stratford Hills next week however I have read that it's waterlogged? Just wondered what it is like there as looks like we'll be withdrawing, so want to be absolutely sure. Heard more rain on the way over the weekend.

I went schooling there on the 2nd and most parts were pretty good but the lower fields were v wet - talking sinking to about their coronet bands. No surface water but we have had snow and more rain since. If its too wet surely they would cancel?
 
now heard Stratford Hills was shut over the weekend as course is too wet, so horse isn't going now, going to look for somewhere else to go :)
 
Just seen on CVRC Facebook page that this event is cancelled due to poor weather forecast. Please contact the organisers to notify them that you are aware of changes.
 
got the email last night, so have already emailed them. Glad I made the right decision, decided last week not to go, and contacted the organisers. Such a shame the weathers put paid to our first trip out but there will be others :)
