Straw - if you buy off your Yard......

my dad owns the yard and just sells one type of straw - wheat.
if anyone wants different bedding their welcome to get it in themselves same with hay we have a stack of bales if they want hayledge they sort it themselves works quite well for our yard

We've got barley straw and wheat straw. Currently trialing them both to see which is the best bedding. Barley seems to be getting wolfed down by a certain greedy member of our herd. Oops, so I think we'll be sticking with wheat which they don't seem to bother with.

THAT made for some interesting riding experiences and I had to buy in shavings

we have both wheat and barley and also huge large bales which i think are also wheat.
