I need to order some more bedding. I usually get LWP but from reading a few reviews on the forum it seems that straw pellets are more absorbent and rot down quicker.

Has anyone used Straw pellets Ltd? Or can you recommend somewhere to get straw pellets from?

I have used them for a while now. I like them better than wood pellets, you don't need to wet them (although I did for one horse who thought they were pony nuts!). They're good value, very absorbent and rot down quickly.
Just had a delivery today as it happens, luckily before the heavens opened -again!

I was about to order but the delivery charges hike the price right up, tempted to just stick with what I know now as they will work out the same price :(

I liked them but 2 out of 8 of the horses ate them so I went back to wood pellets. Now that I wet the pellets with hot water whilst still in their bags, I have decided that wood pellets are the best. They look nicer (paler) than straw pellets too.

I've just started using Miscanthus pellets and so far so good. Have been using wood pellets for years and first impressions are that these are better. Much more absorbant and less smell too. Ordered from pellet beds and had excellent service and a delivery day to suit me!
