How much do you pay for a bale of straw in your part of the world.

£1.80 for small bales of Barley Straw and £12 for large rolls of Barley Straw both delivered in North Essex.

I pay £3.50 for my straw(dont know what type it is) they are about a foot longer than the small bales and REALLY tightly packed so not so bad on value. Thats in hampshire

My supplier says he hasn't got enough to let me have any this year as he won't have enough for his cows. Now got to hunt for some as nearly ran out

£2 per bale in cheshire - the guy I get mine off also sells to the livery yard I used to be on and they sell it on for £3.50 (you have to buy everything from them)

I buy big square bales which are £12 delivered by my local farmer.

we are farmers and we are out already..its 80 per tonn (3 bales ) so if you are getting it for under 2.00 per bale you are very lucky people indeed

I pay 75p per bale collected he always struggles to shift it too!!!!!
