Stray horses in Kent

There are horses all over the place round here and i do sometimes wonder if they are supposed to be where they are left!
only a few weeks ago some got out / or let out onto a busy road at night a few were hit and killed.

sad really. hopefully these will get rehomed somewhere safe.
 
There's loads of 'pikey' horses in fields round that area. Some right next to the M25 sharing their field with the fly tipping and burnt out cars.
 
There are a lot of tethered horses around there which don't seem well cared for either. There is usually an empty upturned water bucket near by so I don't suppose they get checked that often. I think they are on council land as in some places there have been attempts to bank the edges to stop people getting access.
 
They did warn that after the rescue in Amerham there would start to appear stray horses a little bit every where and they suspect that JG would release his horses to avoid another cruelty case..they were right !!
