Why does selling have to be so stressful! I have aged 20yrs I think! After a months of advertising I found my little summerproject pony the perfect home last weekend. The little girl who tried her was fab for her. Got on like a house of fire so to say. They had her vetted today, didn't think there should be a problem. First thing they wanted was and quick height check. When we had her measured and vetted she was 14h and 1/2 last yr. When she was measured today she was 13,3 and 3/4! vet said have to phone poss new owner. She had vetting stopped as pony had to be 14h and above not 1/4 of an inch out! So there went a new home for my pony. So depressed for the day as desperatly need the money from my pony, got phone call this evening people who were having my pony vetted said they now wanted her as the daughter really did like her a huge amount. so from a rubbish start to happy ending and there going to pick her up on tues. At last!
So i wish my pony all the luck in her new home.

TBH if they are going to jump ship over that they probably weren't the best home anyway. We all know you can fiddle life heights a bit so it seems a stupid reason to back out.

Glad story has a happy ending! If they were worried about height because they want to event, tell them not to worry, there are dozens of ponies out there who will never see 14 hands happily taking their young owners round Intro/PNs... So far nobody checks/enforces 14 hand rule - long may it continue!
