how do you wash yours, and how clean do they come?

Washed mine in the washing machine once, came up nice and clean but faded a bit! So now I wash them by hand with a scrubbing brush

I stupidly bought the white ones! I put them in the washing machine at 40 degC. They come out cleaner but they're never gonna be sparkling white again.

When I get round to it, in a bucket of warm water, usually with horse shampoo as I can't find anything else... but my pony picked them off the bars and dropped them in his water bucket yesterday, they actually came out quite clean after a night's soaking!
