Ordered my two toddlers some lovely joddie boots and they have arrived this morning.
Ordered them in a larger size than they need, cos as anyone with kids knows they grow so b****y quickly things dont last 10 minutes,so foot size they are fine but the top of them is very tight and being only young it is difficult to get them to push their feet in properly just wondered if anyone has any tips on how I could stretch the top of them to make life a bit easier.

You could roll up lots of news paper and stuff it in the top bit and see if they stretch a little. If you used enough paper it could work.

I had to do this with mine this spring! The elastic was so tight I couldn't get my feet in. I found something hard as big as I needed the hole to go (bits of wood in my case), and wedged them open with it all night until the elastic and leather gave a bit. Try some white spirit on the leather too - you can buy Woly Stretch, but it smells just like white spirit and does the same job.
