As the title really, I have a fabulous pair of leather boots with zips up the back that I haven't worn for a few years and needless to say now I want to wear them they no longer fully zip up! Is it possible to get them 'stretched' as such? Has anyone on here ever done this or can recommend somewhere to get this done?
Many thanks!

If you leave them for a few days with old plastic bottles in them - the big 2l kind, they work to help keep them 'open'!! Other than that maybe just use some saddle soap to get them nice and supple and then zip them up? xx

I had the same problem and was told that because of the zips they couldn't be stretched - was told this by an experienced saddler who does a lot of boot repairs/stretching.

In the end I had the zips replaced with slightly chunkier zips which made the boots slightly wider and means I can now wear them without cutting the circulation to my feet off :D

Think it cost £30.
