Stringhalt and Amino Acids

Hi all,

I have a hunter who has stringhalt it is only in 1 hind leg it is super obvious now, my vet has suggested that I try amino acids to help his leg. SO I was wondering 1 things; 1) has anyone else got a horse with stringhalt?? 2)what sort of resutls do you expect from amino acids
