Stroppy mare

Hi does anyone have any advice to help me deal with some stroppy behavior from my daughters pony? She is a VERY sweet and talanted pony, but her only vice is she DOES NOT LIKE being fiddled with. Preperation for a show can be manic, she hates having her mane pulled or plaited it simply drives her mad. Other than that she is absolutely lovely and gentle talanted pony that has taken my daughter miles on confidence.
Has everyone got any advice on how to chill her out in stable to plait up.
What are the best supplements to chill out a stressy mare that just gets abit wound up?

I use Global Herbs frisky mare plus for mine and it has definately helped, however, some horses just don't like having their manes pulled. I would put a haynet up for her and use a blade instead of pulling the hair out as perhaps she is just very sensitive.

Thank you for your help. I will bear the global herbs in mind.
I do always use a hay net to draw her attention and your right, she wont have her mane pulled. I have even resorted to shorten it with clippers (which she loves), but plaiting is the problem. She dances around and flinches and gets quite stressy. Just wish I could get something to chill her out and save her the discomfort of stressing. Sometimes she just goes to sleep and other times she keeps fighting me bless her, this is her ONLY fault.
