Hi would anyone know of anything other then regumate to give my 16h tb mare everytime she comes into season shes becomes a right handfull ,thanks in advance for any guidance

A cautionary tale please use with care my mare is allergic to one of the main ingredients of these supplements and it made her quite poorly

depends on how old she is too. my mare came into season for first time as 3 yr old and was horrendous to the point that we discussed putting her on regumate with the vet (who is qualified AI etc too) and also with stud that bred her and we decided to wait couple months and see how she was and she got better. now i know the first one of the year is bad but then she settles and is now 6. by the end of her first year in season you didnt know she was in season.

Our mare is extremely bolshy when in season, combined with a very dominant gelding, it's not a good mix, stroppy mare fed to both parties keep things calm, he ignores her when she's winking at him or peeing in his path.
