** Stubben bridle** copies!!!! colour of the dot on the brow band

What is CTD/meaning!! and what colour "DOT" should there be on the side of the brow band!!
Am asking as just found this on e-bay!! This was on a listing on Stubben bridle range....

Please note you see a lot of misinformation about these bridles:

CTD is a range of bridles distributed by Stubben

If you see a Stubben 1000 CTD or a Stubben CTD 1000 range the seller is simply trying to pass these off as part of the main Stubben Range (blue dot) - usually by adding a 1000 range headband with the Stubben Logos (naughty naughty!) Whilst they are not part of the main range they are still great quality.

These bridles are significantly cheaper than the main Stubben range, these are designed to complement the Stubben range not compete with it.
 
Not sure from your post if you are asking about it or just telling us but I'll clarify anyway just in case the questions weren't rhetorical!

CTD is just a cheaper Stubben range than their main range.

The emblems on the tack vary according to the range. CTD stuff usually has a gold thing on the browband whereas the more expensive bridle carries a blue one.

I guess the ebay listing is saying that people are sticking the more expensive browband onto a cheaper bridle, and to watch out for it.
 
Phew... Thank you for that as i just brought one, (got it today) has a blue dot on brow band... But how would you no if you have a cheaper version,if people are putting on the blue dot brow bands!! what might the markings be on the bridle!!

My stubben with the blue dot brow band has stubben emblem stamped into the leather on all keepers and over the top of the headpiece.

I did also read somewhere that better quality bridles have 10 to 12 stitches per inch, can't remember where I read it though!

Thanks.. just had a look on the bridle and stamped on all keepers and headpiece.
