Stubben String Girth

Ok its been suggested that I try the above girth on Sol .
My only concern is the buckles pinching and the fact there are no keepers for the girth (I have a monoflap and a dressage saddle)

Does anyone use one and have no problems ?

You can always sow a bit of sheepskin on it which you can roll up over the buckles

The buckles don't pinch at all! It's a really nice girth but as you said no where to put the girth straps

I used to have a loop of soft felt on either side to keep them from poking out but it inevitably slid down and the leathers flapped out

What size colour are you looking for? I have one in brown for T that's hardly been used, but is going half price as its too big

Not sure of the size off the top of my head, though.

I love my one, but then I have the usual one (not the short / dressage type one length). Never had any problems with mine, my horses love it including one who is very sensitive skinned and one who gets very sweaty.

Thanks everyone ...looking at it I don't think it matters that the girth straps will poke out (my stud guard is the same) so I may invest in one ..
