Evening all.
As a polite reminder whilst its stubble season, please take the time to ask permission from the farmer/landowner before riding on stubble. Most really appriciate being asked and you may find yourself being allowed on more fields if you are friendly.
With a lot using direct drilling to drill next years crop, what appears to be stubble is actually next years crop, uneven to ride on and will not make you popular among farmers.
It is also a time where farmers dig up and repair land drains, meaning big trenches which won't be seen until the last minute if youre having a gallop.
We have had lots of happy, pleasant people who have asked permission, please don't ruin it for everyone by riding on people's stubble without permission.
