My younger sisters pony is a stubborn wench!! She has fantastic jumping potential but i like her to do a set of poles on the ground before she goes over any fences. Its just getting her over the poles that is the issue. Shes 8 years old but very green as shes a rescue pony who was beaten so can be a bit nervy, but this isnt nervousness, its just downright stubborn. Sister will ride her positively to the poles and B will flatly refuse, run out, anything to avoid them. Once shes been over once she'll go over no problem. Its just that once! Using a whip isnt an option due to her past and i cant keep leading her over them just the once to get her to go over!!
