Rather like the sound of some of the horses on their website and as we've been let down by lying with private sales, was considering using a dealer. At least then you can make one journey and try a couple of horses!

So, has anyone used or bought a horse from this place? would be interested in hearing opinions, good or bad!

Haven't used them but I also like the look of some off their horses too!

As far as I know there are a fair few people who have good things to say about them. Think there havce been posts in the past about them, and as far as I recall there weren't many,if any, negative posts.

Good luck, can't hurt to give them a ring.

Not heard of them before so don't no anything but noticed that Florin and Skittle have the same picture. Though Florin is bay so I think the picture is of Skittle.

Have heard very good things - could get someone I know off another forum to maybe email you as her horse is from there

Pm me if you want

Know several people who bought from there. Horses tended to be young, and best for people with a lot of energy, enthusiasm and back-up from experienced trainers for bringing them on.

Whenever I looked, I thought the price tags seemed quite high ...

i thought some of the prices seemed a bit high, i too also noticed that florin and skittles have the same picture as do chilli and arnie! lol

This has been asked about before and one forum member replied saying how happy she was with her horse bought from them.
I tend to nose at their site as at one time we considered buying their place.
I'm always very impressed with their honest assessments of the horses.
As dealers' go I would certainly say go and look at their horses.
The road outside is busy and there is a high speed dual carriageway and a train line very close to the farm.
If they say traffic proOf, yoU can bet your life it means TRAFFIC PROOF!

I got my girl from there 2.5 years ago!!!!!! I can't recommend them highly enough. Patsy the owner is very very knowledgeable and helpfull. I actually went to try a horse advertised on the website but ended up buying one that had just come off the boat. She tends to know quite a bit about the horse's past as she goes over to ireland and buys off people she knows and has people looking out for horses for her. She has excellent trial facilities and will not sell you a horse that she doesn't think it right for you. All horses are very very well looked after and checked by the dentist and chiro( i use the same chiro), althoug not many have vaccinations but think that is the same with most dealers. When i tried Shannon i hacked her out and the roads are very busy so an ideal test.
I would definatley buy again from her although the prices have gone up quite abit, but i think they generally have, she is very picky about which horses she brings home.
Please feel free to PM me if you want to know anymore, i'll try to help
Here's a pic of my girl from there.

anna- your girl looks lovely! its encouraging to have some many people saying good things about a dealer! only one thing, how come on quite a few ads they used to same pictures?

I just had a quick look and see what you meen 'Florin' is bay but there is a coloured next to it! If you are interesting in going it is best to ring and tell her what you are looking for. She prefers if you make an appointment that way she has got the time to show you around and sometimes the ones on the web have been sold but she hasn't had chance to update it. She always seems to be very busy!

Kind of had experience with them in a round about way. Ive never bought from them and I wouldnt. However, my best friend was on livery there for a while (I was riding one of her horses at the time) and her son was "schooling" some of the sale ponies.

Hated the place to be blunt

Didnt particularly like some of the methods used. Anyway, feel free to PM me if you're interested in that side of things.

I live quite near them and although i don't know anyone who has bought from them, i have been to the yard many times. The horses are well cared for and the facilities are brilliant, so i'm sure you could try a horse in all situations, before making any decisions.

I've heared loads of positive comments from people on another forum.

Although she seems a little pricey, I get the impression this is one dealer you don't have to steer clear of.

I went for a trial up there as a job if you want any more details just PM me i wouldnt honestly buy any horses from there, they are overpriced, and taught manners in unnacceptable ways hence i turned down the job offer! the YO will tell you exactly what you want to hear and most of the past has been made up cause she doesnt no and she told that to my face. Rode a few of the horses, sweet enough quite unbalanced though and not established enough for the price tags.

I have been there.Patsy seems very knowledgeable and the facilities brilliant (hacking apart). Would love to find a livery yard like that TBH.Didn't buy on that occasion but if I was looking again would definately look there.

My friend bought a horse from there. The horses are brought over from Ireland, schooled a bit, trimmed up and have a big price tag slapped on them. I'm not saying this is right or wrong, but as mentioned above, don't listen to any "history"! As long as you have a good trial, and you are happy with the price you pay, thats fine.
