Stuffing kongs

I am planning to get a couple of Kongs to stuff and freeze for our two spins, they are feed a raw diet do people have any good recipes of what to suff the Kongs with to last as long as poss.

I use minced tripe and/or minced chicken (whole) my freezer lives in the shed though, which helps

They love tripe, dose it not drop out once thawed?

Well mine are frozen for a good 12 hours, I do pack it in and my dog is a horse so not much gets left on the floor!

Will def try tripe, and minced chicken do you tend to use it as part of their meal?

I count the Kong as part of his daily food allowance...he gets 2/3 a day and then more bits and bobs on top (chicken carcass, heart, oxtails at the mo, chicken/liver from my pockets for training)

I put a bit of cheese in and melt it in the microwave and then freeze. It takes ages for them to lick the cheese off the insides when they have finished whatever else is in there,

Webbox chicken/tripe *hides head in shame* and then shove in freezer for night.


Tuna and cheese makes a good filling.

I cant stand the tripe in it

Sometimes I shove a chicken leg it and wedge it horrizantally, Dylan gets really annoyed with it coz he cant get it out, I love it coz it keeps him entertained.

Never mind Webbox, I've just bought a load of the Orlando stuff from Lidl

Anyone else microwave Kongs? my OH wasn't happy about it, so they have two Kongs stuffed with minced chicken and put in the freezer ready for tomorrow! Will tuna freeze? They love love too.
