Stumble on to knees

J had a slight stumble onto both knees yesterday in a field. He had done some trotting poles and just stumbled but got up. We checked his legs etc. and he seemed fine and he actually dragged me to the poles in trot rather than walking.

Do you think I should get someone out to give him a once over (physio/ massage)?

I've never had this happen so worrying!

TIA

I'd check for any heat swelling or pain generally and maybe take it easy for a day or so, but otherwise I wouldnt stress. Charlie literally crash landed after a show jump a couple of weeks ago, the landing was deep and he just bogged down in it. He was fine afterwards carried on jumping like nothing happened

I did check him last night and he was ok. He has been out all night so at least moving around. Might just do a little hack tonight just to see how he feels. Thank you :)

I wouldn't rush to conclusions, just keep an eye on him for a while, mine has stumbled the odd times in 16 years, just like we all do, if it keeps happening then get it properly checked out.

Oh sorry I probably misworded it, I meant just after care. I'm not overly worried about it (i.e. I don't think its neurological etc.) as I've watched the video and can see he literally just misplaced his hoof and stumbled. Thanks though :)

Just keep an eye. Mine has stumbled before on an uneven surface because he did not pay attention. He popped right back up and was fine in the following days.
