This morning I had to chase a staffy off that had got hold of our neighbouring farmers sheep. It ran off as soon as it saw me sprinting at it yelling like a mad woman, don't know what I would have done if it hadn't turned tail and run, kicked it in the nuts probably!

My sister alerted the completely ignorant owners who hadn't even noticed it wasn't with them, I think their exchange involved some stern words. This is an entire dog staffy, that is never walked on the lead. Its people like this who give staffies, well any dogs really, a bad name!

And yesterday yet another numpty owner allowed his off lead staff to attack a girl in Enfield Chace. This breed is so so nice,it just does`nt need these idiot people owning them.

Thing is, we've known these women many years, I think they are sisters - and without trying to be very un-pc, I'm not sure they're all there... :(

We had idiot people in our fields (private land) walking some very bouncy dogs, I politely called out for them to put dog on lead as Baby Fell was getting really stressed, their response 'He is no-one near you, and I don't see the problem' said person was about 3 metres away Grrrr

Some years ago one of our neighbours dogs, who live in the garden all the time got out and attacked the goats on the small holding behind us, one was a bull terrier the other poss an Akita cross, anyway my OH took a plank of wood to the to get them to let go of the goat, the terrier took off the other dog just stood there and waged it's tail at us. The owners promised to get rid of them, but some time later they were in our garden trying to get our rabbit, needless to say I wasn't very polite when I hammered on their door at 3am!!!

Its amazing how many dog owners can see no wrong in their dogs, whether its chasing sheep or other livestock , if they had ever seen a sheep with its innards hanging out they may think again. At the very least the sheep may abort their lambs, just because you cannot see the damage dosnt mean there isnt any.

People deserve getting their dogs shot for chasing livestock. A woman near us, her dog was shot. Time and time again she let the dog out and it did it.

Put the dog on a lead when your walking through a field with livestock. Whether its good or not. Have some respect for the field and livestock owner.
